Awkward family photos? Penguins? Tattoos? You just never know. Clients and friends look forward to the Vendi holiday card every year to see what the team has come up with. There’s a lot of pressure to outdo the previous year, but luckily, we never lack ideas. When it comes to concepting, there are a few cardinal rules:
- No idea is a bad idea
- Individual personalities should shine
- It needs to be funny
- Jangle needs to show up
The shoot is a blast. The outtakes are always our favorite part. And yes! There is a tiny bit of photoshop involved.
Vendi’s holiday cards have won ADDY awards in 2018 and 2019. According to the creative team, the success of the card is due to the willingness of every single person to do whatever it takes to make the vision come alive. For clients, it’s a dose of holiday mirth that introduces them to the entire Vendi crew in a slightly outrageous way.
