UW–Madison’s School of Pharmacy needed its website to be a stronger recruiting tool.
Vendi solved a host of technical, design and content problems for a site that better represents this top-10 pharmacy school and reflects its commitment to accessibility.

Vendi’s work transformed the user experience and better represents the UW brand

UW–Madison’s School of Pharmacy is among the top-10 pharmacy schools in the country. Its website, however, didn’t reflect its world-class reputation and in fact was sluggish and difficult to manage. Vendi was hired to diagnose the problems and come up with a prescription for a responsive, agile and flexible site that would give prospective students a satisfying experience.

Vendi worked closely with the team from UW–Madison SoP to determine their needs and offered several possible solutions to improve the speed, accessibility and management of the site.

For the UW–Madison SoP website, Vendi:

  • Implemented caching in the front and backends to make the site faster and more responsive
  • Rewrote the site’s logic for easier management by staff (CMS), giving them the tools to implement new features easily and make changes as needed

Vendi built a relationship with the School of Pharmacy team based on trust and mutual respect. As a result, Vendi has become a go-to technical and creative partner for yet another UW–Madison division.
