Vendi Advertising was named the Best Workplace in Wisconsin at the 2023 MARKETPLACE Governor’s Awards. The Governor’s Awards recognize Wisconsin businesses owned by minorities, women and service-disabled veterans, and their advocates.

The Best Workplace Award is given to a business with a company culture that thrives in the face of adversity and fosters employee growth and advancement at all levels. It also recognizes a business where people love to work and sets the standard for excellence. “Vendi is built on a culture of kindness, creativity and collaboration. We feel people do their best work when they feel seen and supported as their authentic selves. To have Vendi recognized as the Best Workplace in the state is a great honor and a testament to our team who works hard every day to do great work,” said Julie Haas, Vendi client services and strategy principal.

“We also just completed a major renovation of our historic offices, capturing our team’s work, ideas and personalities into the new space. We were able to bring our culture to life for our employees,” said agency growth principal Sam Przywojski. “It’s exciting to be chosen for this award and statewide recognition.”

Vendi is a national-award-winning, full-service, women-owned and independent brand, marketing and web agency. It’s currently celebrating its 20th year in business.

Our stream of consciousness

Structuring & writing content for AI

Retrieval is like securing a job interview. It gets your content in the room, but it doesn’t guarantee selection. Structure is what determines whether your content gets “the job,” that is, whether it’s deemed “useful” enough to be included in a response.

Optimizing content for AI retrieval

Most content never makes it into an AI-generated answer. Not because it’s bad, but because it’s never found in the first place. Before an AI system can use your content in a response, it must retrieve it. If you don’t win the retrieval battle, your content never even makes it onto the field.

Why AEO matters

After years of research, debate, experimentation, pilot projects and global hype, generative AI platforms like Google Search, Claude, Perplexity and ChatGPT are now transforming how people find information online.
