What really happened to Honey?

At 7:58 pm, Professor Parrot dropped her glass on the rec room floor, and it shattered. She and her pet parrot Aries went to the kitchen to grab a towel to clean up the mess. While she was gone, Honey wandered in and cut her paw on a shard. Her paw started to bleed, and she walked out of the rec room, leaving a bloody paw print.

In the dining room, Mr. Personality, a mug of hot cocoa in his hand, noticed Honey was hurt. Mr. Personality walked toward her to help, but she fled to the study. He set down his mug on the dining room table and grabbed Winnie’s napkin on his way to find Honey.

Honey ran through the study, leaving footprints, but deep in conversation, no one noticed. Mr. Personality followed her paw prints, grabbed a bag of dog treats from the table, and continued to search for her.

At 8:03 pm, Mr. Personality caught up with Honey in the empty foyer. He offered her a treat and bent down to pick her up, his phone falling out of his pocket as he did so. He wrapped her paw in the napkin he had grabbed and carried her out to his car to drive her to the nearest vet, taking the treats along—just in case.

A mere four minutes later, a group who had been outside stargazing around the corner came inside and discovered Honey missing.
