Web Development Intern

The Web Development Intern may assist with front-end and back-end development, website maintenance, CMS management and optimizing website performance and accessibility.

The best fit for this position would 

• Have experience in or studying information systems, computer science or computer information systems
• Be able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• Have a basic understanding of web development
• Be proficient with front end languages such as HTML and CSS, as well as at least one procedural language such as JavaScript or PHP

Job duties for this position may include

• Assisting with agency and client meeting coordination as needed
• Tracking all hours in agency time management system
• Storing all code in agency or client source control systems
• Assisting agency with events, projects and workload with completing necessary support tasks
• Maintaining professional appearance and conduct
• Assisting in triaging bugs, issues and feature changes
• Helping conduct website audits
• Debugging code and determining, writing and deploying solutions
• Participating in peer code reviews
