VENDI BANKS ON EXTENSIVE RESEARCH
FOR STATE BANK FINANCIAL BRAND STRATEGY

Vendi Advertising conducted a major regional and city-wide survey to assist the newly named State Bank Financial in its decision to change its name from State Bank of La Crosse. Over a four-week period, Vendi gathered feedback on consumer and business banking habits, preferences and perceptions. Online surveys, telephone surveys, written surveys, focus groups and one-on-one interviews with thousands of individuals ranging in age, occupation, income and location were used.

The research provided us with a wealth of information about how our customers perceive us, what it most important to them in a bank and how we can further improve our service; plus the research provided direction for future growth,” said Steven R. Burgess, State Bank Financial President and CEO.

The bank’s name change was driven by the results of the research, as was the bank’s new logo, tag line, website and marketing materials, which Vendi produced.

“This research impacted our brand identity but more importantly how we conduct our business, and it will do so for years to come,” said Burgess.
